“ We decided to detour through Santa Fe for a couple of days on our way home from Colorado to Houston, TX. We decided to have dinner at a local restaurant that bills itself as a "Mexican & New Mexican Cuisine & Tequila Bar." The food looks and smells very good and tastes incredible! I had the house specialty, the pork tamales, and my wife had mixed grill fajitas. Both were incredibly good, but my pork tamales were the best I've ever had; and I've eaten hundreds of them over the past 20+ years living all over in Texas. The house made red chile sauce on the pork tamales was out of this world! Their green sauce looks delicious, and they have a chicken mole that requires 72 hours' notice. The place is very small and loud, but it all works to provide an incredible meal experience. This has been the best meal on this we've had on this 14-day trip by far! ”
“ Delicious! Great margaritas! Love the outdoor seating with umbrellas. Just a short walk to the mail plaza and church! Very good customer service. ”
“ Awesome vegan and vegetarian options, great margaritas and a dog friendly patio! We had the veg fajita plate and vegan tamales and they were both fantastic. Big portions and mild veg chiles to top it off. We will serve back! ”
“ Excellent fish tacos. Wife was very pleased with her calabasitas nachos. Friendly staff and a nice patio. Will have to come back to try the margaritas! ”
“ We went on a Wednesday evening at it was crowded but we got a table outside almost immediately. Service was great, very friendly and helpful. The fish tacos were good, but a little hard to eat because it was piled high with toppings, and I thought the fish was a little dry, but overall, they were very good. The chicken mole was great. The rice and beans were well seasoned. Cocktails were also good, like the Paloma and mezcal margarita ($14 each). Would definitely go again (maybe better than waiting 45-60min for a spot at the shed. ”
